Hi, I'm Matt Rabe. I am a web developer, web programmer, web software engineer, and provider of web solutions with over ten years of experience, and supreme webdesign resources. I am currently available to take on new clients on a per-client/project basis. I am a resident of Eugene, OR, USA and I primarily telecommute to get the job done.

    I managed the website, database, IT duties, and day-to-day operations for three years at Outdoor Sportz. The website enjoyed excellent placement in search engines for a large number of selected keywords. The site and the shopping cart ran on a ShopSite backend which was populated and updated by database exports from our central FileMaker database.

    This site was designed as a simple yet catchy band homepage. It uses a unique CSS rollover design and menu system. This is a dynamic site with an ASP backend which connects to a SQL database. It has a substantial administration backend which allows content such as upcoming shows, visitor information, and song download/listen information to be edited and viewed through a web-based interface. It also incorporates a Flash component which I designed to allow visitors to listen to streaming MP3s. The site is W3C CSS and HTML compliant. It includes a javascript snipplet written by Brian Lowe and altered by myself which performs certain mouseover functions for users with Internet Explorer.

    This is my personal website, which undergoes ongoing changes and updates. It was originally built in 2004. I designed the site to utilize an ASP backend which connects to a SQL database. I have created a substantial administration backend which allows website content such as song lyrics, mp3 download URL's, email lists, visitor information to be editted and viewed through a web-based interface. The menu was designed in Flash from a graphically altered photograph. Click on the swirling tomato to see the original photograph.

    Workers with the city of Charlotte contacted me concerning problems with javascript rollovers on the Charlotte Airport website. I fixed the problem and converted the system to CSS rollovers. I also added a javascript function so that the images would preload.
